How do I export my ADIF file from my logging software?
Use the export function in your logging software; select the option to export to ADIF. For best compatibility, export your ADIF from your qrz.com logbook. In your qrz.com logbook, click Settings, then Export ADIF.
Why do you need my contacts' locations?
We display your contacts on a map, so we need accurate location data. Latitude and longitude are most precise, but if missing, we infer them from the Maidenhead grid square.
What fields must my ADIF file include?
It would be best if your ADIF file contains the following fields:
CALL, BAND, MODE, COUNTRY, LAT, LON, QSO_DATE, TIME_ON, GRIDSQUARE, and TX_PWR.
The minimum required fields are:
CALL, BAND, MODE, GRIDSQUARE, QSO_DATE.
What should I do after exporting my ADIF file?
Fill out the provided form and upload your ADIF file to generate your contact map. You can view your map or download it if you want to host it on your website.
What if my ADIF file does not have latitude and longitude?
If LAT and LON are missing, we infer the location from the Maidenhead grid square (GRIDSQUARE) field.
Some of my contacts are missing?
The map displays contacts only if the contact information is valid. If your contact is missing, make sure the information is valid. Your log file might be too big. If your file contains more than 10,000 contacts, only the last 10,000 contacts are displayed.
How is my data handled?
Your privacy is important to us. We do not keep or share any of the data you upload. We use all files and information solely to generate your contact map, and we do not store them after processing.
